How to apply
Crack from centre
Bend the strip in the middle to split the backing.
Peel each side
Hold the edges and peel away both halves of the liner.
Press & sleep
Centre over relaxed lips, press for a few seconds, rest.
In the morning, lift slowly from one corner. No tug, no fuss.
Surprisingly comfortable
The fabric is really soft and it peels off cleanly in the morning. No residue. Sleep quality has genuinely improved — less tossing, quieter nights.
Woke up and forgot I had it on
That's how gentle it is. No pulling, no irritation. My wife says I'm quieter and I actually believe her because I'm not waking up with a dry throat anymore.
Solid but I want more hold
It works and the skin feels fine in the morning. I think I'll graduate to Full Closure soon. Great starting point — no irritation at all.
Recommend to anyone nervous
I put this off for months because I was scared. It's nothing like what I imagined. Soft, forgiving, and by night three I stopped thinking about it at all.
Finally got over the fear
I was so nervous to try mouth tape. The Gentle Intro X-shape is soft enough that I barely notice it by morning. Two weeks in and my dry mouth is basically gone.
Dry mouth is gone
I was sceptical but three nights in I noticed my mouth wasn't dry in the morning. The X-shape is small and reassuring. Would recommend as a starting point for anyone nervous.
Works but fell off
It came off a few times in the first week. I think my lips are just hard to tape. When it does stay on I sleep better, so I'll keep trying and perfecting my application.
Perfect first step
Light hold, easy to take off in the morning. It doesn't feel like a full seal so my brain wasn't freaking out. Less dry mouth after night one.
Nice hold, took adjustment
First night felt weird but I kept at it. By night four it felt normal. Not as strong a hold as I'd like but for a first-time taper it's the right choice.
Good starter
Took two nights to get used to it but now it's part of my routine. Less dry mouth already. It came off once in the night but I think I didn't apply it carefully enough.
